3-25-11  Tim Garton of Springfield, Missouri, had some good diggin'

recently and achieved a first for him. Among his finds was this 1833

Bust Half Dime, his first Bust coin ! Congratulations Tim !

3-25-11  My own cousin, Bob Thomas, down near Little Rock, Arkansas,
began detecting Civil War Relics less than a year ago. Recently he's had a
run of good luck, sending me photos every other day last week. Finally, a
day or two ago, was the most disgusting one, a 51 bullet day !!  I was
quick to remind him that the family that "digs together" sticks together.
 Congratulations Bob !  [ PS.  I'll be down soon ! ]

Bob Thomas fifty-one [51] bullet recoveries from just a day or two ago ! This is the picture that made me think it was HIGH TIME, our family renewed old friendships, and that perhaps I should drive down and visit Bob soon !!

3-25-11   Mark Daughtrey, of Springfield, Missouri, sent me quite a

few photos of some of his better finds, late last year, and early this

year.  I am just now getting around to posting them, and I hope Mark

hasn't given up on me. He's been fortunate in his digging, and finding

some nice items.  Yes, I'm your man if you need someone to share

the exhorbitant price of gas to your next destination !!

       Congratulations Mark !

3-25-11  Larry Horton of Bentonville, Arkansas, located a small camp

recently, that may have never seen a detector ! Larry's recovered

quite a few 3-ring .69 bullets, eagle buttons, and a good variety of

artifacts.  Of course, being a good old boy, he has promised to take

me with him one of these times, as soon as he gets all those funny,

ringed white rocks out of the way  !!  . .  lol . . Congratulations Larry !

Sword or Bowie Knife tip recovered by Larry Horton. Looks to me a lot like the tip of an early 1800's Horseman's Saber.
